This design was created to showcase a neutral palette. Appliqué can be done in wool or cotton for the leaves and the vase. An assortment of colorful ribbons are used for this iteration of our elegant vase of flowers that would be perfect as a wall hanging or a center medallion for a quilt. 
 
This kit comes with pattern, handout with illustrated directions for making ribbon flowers, and all ribbon needed to complete the block as pictured with neutral colors: 40" wired ribbon, 1.5 yards hand-dyed 2.5-inch wide bias silk ribbon in three colors, 1.5 yards green 7mm slk ribbon, and 45 inches of 5/8" bias silk ribbon for pansies. Finished block size is 15 inches, with a 12-inch design area.
