As we continue on our Woodland Reverie, we gather this beautiful bouquet in and around the forest. A variety of creatively stitched stems and embroidered, appliquéd, and dimensional ribbon flowers are held together with a lovely, stitched bow. Design area is 15 inches square in 18-inch block.
 
Pattern (free with kit purchase) includes complete instructions with illustrations for flower-making, and the kit includes all special materials needed to complete the block: 2 colors of red taffeta ribbon for poppies, a variety of purple ribbons for pansies, green bias silk and velvet ribbon for stems, 7mm silk ribbon and wool roving for coneflowers, and Aurora silk/wool thread for the yarrow. You have the choice of a kit with ORANGE coneflowers or PINK coneflowers.
 
OPTION—You might choose to add an optional hand-dyed thread kit for embroidery, which includes one skein each of Painters Threads #5 pearl cotton for wheat, Thread Gatherer Silken Threads for stems, Weeks DyeWorks #5 pearl for stems, and 2 skeins of Weeks floss for thistle, fern, and leaf veins.
